/ about

In the more than 20 years since its inception, this event, managed by the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce, has grown into a premier opportunity for women at all stages of their careers to convene and connect. Now, with an eye toward the emerging demands of a post-pandemic workplace, we’re proud to introduce BWC Assemble. A quarterly series of conversations, led by C-suite level women, BWC Assemble is designed to inspire, empower, and motivate.

Each session will cover a given theme and will include opportunities for networking, live Q+A, and a featured non-profit serving women in our region. Thanks to the support of our sponsors, BWC Assemble programming will be available at no-cost to educators, students, and entrepreneurs. We’re excited to further extend this offer to the NWA Chapter of N.E.W. and to women’s resource groups at Walmart, J.B. Hunt and Tyson Foods.

WHAT'S NEXT: Tuesday, December 6

7:30 – 9:00 AM at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton - Bentonville

The next BWC Assemble breakfast is just around the corner ,and we hope you will join us!

We are excited that in this quarter we will be discussing Personal Branding and Entrepreneurship. Attendees will learn to apply the skills of successful entrepreneurs - resilience, creativity, and crisis management - to their own leadership style.

Our panel will include:
Jasmine (Jazz) and J'Aaron (Jae), co-founders of Black Owned NWA
Bethany Stephens, President & Chief Enthusiast at Soapbox Influence

Attendees will gain a better understanding of actionable steps they can take ,both within their companies and as individuals, to help foster a diverse and equitable talent pipeline in the field.

Registration is available here and includes a light breakfast. The support of our sponsors makes BWC Assemble programming available at no cost to educators, students, and entrepreneurs. We're excited to further extend this offer to the NWA Chapter of NextUp and to women's resource groups at Walmart, J.B. Hunt, and Tyson Foods. Use code GUEST at registration for your free ticket!

In her role as Director, Community Development and Education, our newest team member, Valerie Spaink, will lead BWC Assemble and BWCA Hub programming, as well as the Chamber’s programming for educators and Leadership Benton County. We’re thrilled to have Valerie on-board and can’t wait for you to meet her at the October BWC Assemble!
