Director of Workplace Mobility

2022 Woman of the Year Award

 

Kourtney Barrett joined Walmart in 2022 as Director of Workplace Mobility. In this role, Kourtney leads the company’s efforts to deliver an intentionally designed frictionless mobility experience for associates, visitors, and the community on the new Home Office campus.  

  

With an entrepreneurial spirit, Kourtney has grown businesses in the region ranging from real estate to backyard farming equipment. In 2011, she founded JUNK Brands, a venture that paired her ingenuity and a passion for healthy living, specializing in headwear and other lifestyle apparel including a private label in more than 1,500 Walmart stores. In 2019, Kourtney co-founded Women of OZ, a community that works to break down barriers for women riders, an organization that has grown to be the largest women's Mountain Biking Organization in the country. Kourtney has served as an executive board member of the Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce, serving as Chair in 2021.  

  

Kourtney graduated from John Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration. When she’s not at work or serving in her community, Kourtney can be found enjoying and exploring the outdoors with her husband, Beau, and their three children here in Northwest Arkansas and around the world.
